Learn how to activate third-party carrier-calculated shipping on Shopify

In order to use our app or any 3rd party shipping app that uses a carrier service, you need to have the Third-Party Carrier-Calculated Shipping feature activated on your shop, even if you are not actually using real-time carrier rates within our app.

The carrier-calculated shipping feature allows our app to connect to your shipping zones, and it gives our app permissions to show rates at checkout. This means that even when the app is in Test Mode, this feature is required.

If your shop is on the Basic plan:

You must upgrade to the Shopify, Advanced or Plus plans to activate this feature.

If your shop is on the Shopify plan:

You can add this feature for a monthly fee or switch from monthly to yearly billing. For more information, contact Shopify Support.

If your shop is on the Advanced or Plus plans:

Third-party carrier-calculated shipping is included and does not have to be activated.
